The breakup took place on October 10th, right after MTV aired a Jersey Shore: Family Vacation episode where the wrestler was seen trying to put his arms around her roommate, Angelina, but his maneuvers failed him. JWoww was completely caught off guard and devastated by the lack of trust in their relationship and ended it right then and there. Viewers watched uncomfortably while Zach made his moves on Angelina while his girlfriend was passed out on his lap from drinking too much. After being kept in the dark for five months regarding the distasteful episode, JWoww took to Instagram to leave a blistering post about how both parties acted horrendously. Not to be outdone, Zach took to his social media account and apologized to JWoww saying he took full responsibility and that JWoww did not deserve to endure any pain. Zach also apologized for putting Angelina in a compromising situation while in front of her friend and vowed to win JWoww back.
