One of the inherent issues with adapting such an epic series of books onto screen is how much material has to be cut and while Game of Thrones has achieved more success than anyone could've imagined, it was forced to drop a lot of Martin's extensive backstory. While The Long Night could certainly remedy this, the Unseen Westeros exhibition offers a fantastic and authentic opportunity for Game of Thrones fans to experience the fictional history of the show. Since authors from the TV production are involved, the exhibits are likely to be in keeping with the visual style and tone viewers will be familiar with.
