The Young Justice team, like the Justice League and other superhero teams, works well when having interchangeable members. In this case, it opens up the roster in case any of the heroes get called up to a bigger team. Adding more heroes to the series might seem like overkill, but it would be surprising to only a few of them stick around on a permanent basis. Spoiler and Aqualad are both bigger characters who are still important to other books. As for Sideways and Arrowette, they are ripe to join the team. Neither hero currently is part of a big run or arc, so letting them further develop on the Young Justice team would be a smart move by Bendis.
